Designed by Marcus O’Reilly Architects, this beach house has many typical local features. It has sandstone base walling, weatherboard construction, is up on stilts, has a skill-ion roof form, ti tree stakes, stainless steel wire balustrade, and a ‘hole punched’ galvanized steel – sided timber stair all combining to give an informal air to this new take on an old theme.
